Sorry for disappearing last week, but being here in Savannah for St. Patrick's Day is enough to wear anybody out. Some notes and observations during that week:
1. You shouldn't have to wait in line for 30 minutes and pay 2 bucks to enter a wack bar with wack music and people who couldn't find rhythm if it were a swarm of bees stinging them in the face.
2. If you want a young crowd to get up and dance, the best thing to do is to NOT get a mediocre, middle-aged singing group doing bad renditions of doo-wop.
3.Also, 3 hours of a dude and a guitar "singing" whatever is not considered "fun". Or "entertainment"
4. Hurricanes are great.
5. Hurricanes are also evil.
6. If you are in Savannah, and see an ad for a show featuring the Breakneck Quartet, go to that show.
7. Going to concerts starting at 1:00 in the morning is a great idea, if you don't have to work the next morning.
