°®ÓÎÏ·Öйú¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾

On 26 June 2019, °®ÓÎÏ·Öйú¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ launched a voluntary multi-annual REACH Dossier Improvement Action Plan (2019â€�2026) to support member companies in reviewing and improving their REACH registration dossiers. Developed with the European Chemical Agency (ECHA), the plan responds to the EU’s , which calls for stronger collaboration between regulators and industry to improve data quality and ensure greater transparency and consistency across dossiers.

The action plan offers a structured framework for proactive updates, including a clear timeline, roles and responsibilities, substance prioritisation criteria, and reporting mechanisms.

As part of the collaboration, ECHA and °®ÓÎÏ·Öйú¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ have hosted joint activities include expert workshops and a pilot project with three companies focused on improving dossiers through grouping and read-across approaches. These activities help companies apply best practices and using non-testing methods to strengthen data submissions.

°®ÓÎÏ·Öйú¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ publishes regular updates and workshop summaries to promote transparency, while more detailed outcomes are shared with participating companies. The cooperation with ECHA is ongoing, with both sides monitoring the impact of improved testing strategies on the quality of registrations.
